HVAC HAPPY TRAIL HVAC HAPPY TRAIL HVAC HAPPY TRAIL!
This C8 honestly doesn’t look nearly as weird looking as that other one I saw. Maybe it is the color. Maybe it is the wheels.

I feel like these look best in white/silver.
If only they’d kept the old yellow.

So regular!

No, that one I saw painted the same shade as the wheels with no con tras t anywhere just looked awful. I like the nice bluish grayish white featured in the video.
I will have to see but Corvettes always looked best in colors.

I really tried, but the narrator’s shtick got so tiresome so fast.
I must say, that does look like a fun car.

The Roman takes over narrating halfway through for some reason. You might like him better. RCR is not for everyone and I get that. Watching more than two back to back would get to the best of us.

The color-matched side piece doesn’t help.
Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic - yes, also good.
I think the C7 looks better in black than the C8.
C8 isn’t bad in bright red.

Ugh, that thumbnail shot really emphasizes the ridiculous height of the front end. Why is the front so tall when the engine is in the back!? It’s killin’ me, Smalls!

Above all, don't color match the vents and trim to body color when that is the same color as the wheels.

Yep. Always disliked the R8s that color-matched the side blades, too.

Yeah, it just looks ridiculous in person. Darn golf bags ruining the proportions. It should slo pe down so it actually looks mid engined instead of like a Civic coupe.

Perhaps with some different wheels and a black side vent trim is forgive that one, but it really is the worst configuration possible.

Same. I gave up one his stuff a while ago. Nothing against him self. I’m just not gobbling up his content. To each their own.

Likely taken from a very low angle, possibly from the ground itself. Perspective is a bitch.

Another low angle shot. I've stood next to one in person. It is very low in real life. I'm only 5'7" and the roof barely comes up to my waist.

The proportions don’t work as well from 6 feet above the ground. I still couldn’t see into the engine bay through the window very easily.

Perspective being a bitch again, I'd imagine.

You’d think right. The front is more blunt looking than the front engined predecessors, which isn’t a good look.

I can’t stand that they color-match the front and rear fascia insert pieces when somebody checks the box for a body-color side scoop. I feel like they look like crap equipped that way. (the silver car in your pic has this option)

It just looks wrong. So so so wrong when that body color is also the same as the wheels.

Oh I understand that, but I’ve seen enough of these in person already and I just don’t understand ho w GM gave this thing such akward proportions. Bleh. IMO this car is such a visual mess.
